Furniture Redistribution Project

You’ve been offering, and we are listening!

Through a convergence of:

• repeated offers of good used furniture from you- the compassionate community
• a free storage unit with Apple Self Storage, 290 Marsland Dr, Waterloo
• the obvious need of refugees moving out of Welcome Home, as they set up their first home
• an emerging team of volunteers who will receive, repair,  and move the furniture a refugee chooses to their new home

Welcome Home has launched its Furniture Redistribution Project.

February 2012 Update:

Believe it or not, we’re actually in need of furniture again!

If you’re upgrading your furniture, or have family who are down-sizing, you’ll get such a blessing from donating your good, used items to a refugee family trying to furnish their first home in Canada.

Here’s a short list of what we’re looking for:

• couches
• coffee and end tables
• beds, night tables, dressers
• floor and table lamps
