Practical Needs

Many refugees arrive in Canada with little more than the clothes on their backs. At Welcome Home, we like to help meet the basic needs of our residents by contributing items to help furnish their bedroom or apartment.

To do so, we rely on people’s generous donations of items such as

  • Pillows (new)
  • Twin beds,mattresses (clean), sheets and blankets
  • Double beds,mattresses (clean), sheets and blankets
  • End tables
  • Small dressers
  • Lamps
  • Bath Towels

To help us meet these practical needs go to Contact Us. Our storage space is very limited, so we can only accept items that are needed for our inventory.

Please remember that we need items that people would be proud to own. If you’re unsure, ask yourself, Would I want this in my home??
